WAGNER - a young brand with tradition
Chairs from Langenneufnach do have a long tradition. In the year 1949, Mr. Moritz Wagner began to produce wooden chairs industrially, whereas quality and longevity were the highest priority. Even today, WAGNER chairs can be found in numerous bavarian restaurants and are, therefore, a proof of the WAGNER first-class-chair-quality.
In 1976, the business was continued by the second generation under the name TOPSTAR. This company has permanently developed to one of the most successful and most modern manufacturers of swivel chairs and seating furniture.
Adapted to the requirements and demands of the 21st century, the Wagner family has started to produce their grandfather’s brand WAGNER again. This brand stands for highly developed, innovative products and concepts, which constitute a harmonic connection between aesthetics and ergonomics.

The revolution in seating: Dondola® - Sitting in motion
Despite decades of research and progress in the area of healthy seating, the problems of back pain and permanent back disease have increased since the turn of the millennium. Revision of opinion had to take place in order to encounter the nation’s no. 1 disease effectively.
Together with Prof. Dr. med. habil. Theodor Peters, for a long time the leading occupational health practitioner in Germany, Wagner professionalized a simple idea: solely motion, also at the workplace, can keep the back really healthy – in other words, Wagner integrated the exercise ball principle into the swivel chair!
The solution was Dondola®, a three-dimensionally fully moveable seating surface, ideally combined – as shown on our chair model AluMedic – with a moveable backrest. Prof. Dr. med. Joachim Grifka of the university in Regensburg confirmed the unique efficiency of the Dondola®-system in a, to this day, exclusive and extensive medical research. 97% of the test persons reported a reduction of back pain on an average of 66%. Furthermore, Dondola® improved the common well being up to 39% by movement!
Less or no back pain therefore stands for higher quality of life, more activity and more fun at your workplace.
